Jenni Anderson MSc, MCIOF
Charity consultant

Why call Jenni?

With 20 years experience of leading teams and working in the non-profit and public sector I have supported charities and voluntary organisations to diversify their income generation and engagement activities.

With a passion for collaboration, innovation and team cohesion, I joined the third sector to play my part in helping others. Whether that be through sharing the stories of families who are caring for a child with a life-limiting condition, building new outdoor facilities for young people, or supporting veterans with disabilities find purpose again by taking up a new sport.

I have a diverse career portfolio with leadership experiences across health, education, young people’s services, disability and sport. My working life began in a busy press office (on the Holloway Road) and this good foundation in honest communications led me to fundraising and then into strategy and charity leadership.

I have had the pleasure of working with very small, local charities through to household names, the NHS and local authorities. I’ve delivered exponential growth in income and created nationwide campaigns to bring new supporters, volunteers and commercial partners on board.

My expertise spans across the fundraising and marketing spectrum and I have a direct understanding of the pressures and challenges facing charity leaders today. My MSc (Distinction) in Charity Finance and Accounting from Cass Business School and a MA in Journalism also means my practical experience is combined with academically-sound theory.

Throughout my career I have benefited from the support of an inspirational network of consultants in the sector who have helped me and my teams to reframe strategy, write compelling appeals, coach and mentor, problem-solve; all the while being there as a critical friend.

My consultancy service is designed to empower and support you to deliver the big ideas, without the need for a big budget.
